			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">To celebrate the deadline for this year&#8217;s Vancouver Short Film Festival submissions, we&#8217;ll be showing a few videos with some of last year&#8217;s winning filmmakers to let you know how they got their films made, shown, and what they&#8217;re up to now.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The first in the series is <strong>Marshall Axani</strong>, Writer/Director for <em>The Light of Family Burnam</em>, which won 7 of 10 awards in the VSFF&#8217;s professional short film category.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The next interview is with <strong>Angelina Cantada</strong>, Producer/Director of <em>Let&#8217;s Play Boccia!, </em>which won the Women In Film &amp; Television (WIFTV) Award for Best Female Director in a Professional Short Film, and only cost $250 to make! The subject of Angelina&#8217;s film is the Canadian Paralympic Boccia team, and she went on to compete in the 2010 Crazy 8s film competition, among producing other projects.</p>
